KAREN MCCLENDON ART

I started my  series, Faces as a whim.  My paintings are prayers and yet  something was missing. 

I don't mean the colors and shapes and eyes that are the windows to the soul, but something. 

It finally came to me and I experienced peace  in my soul.

The Faces represent the victims of human trafficking- the invisible and forgotten.

I have always prayed for the victims and for the end of human trafficking.

What I hope to accomplish and convey as a Christian artist, in this Series is awareness and hope.

When someone buys one of these paintings in my Faces Series, please know that I will give a percentage of the sale to Talitha Kum- an organization that does important work against trafficking.
